Introduction
ICT pupil capability refers to the level that children are able to operate within when they are engaged in using a range of ICT resources and carrying out a range of tasks to support their learning. It cannot be measured in the arena of ICT skills, knowledge and understanding being developed by the teacher. It is a judgement about children’s level of independence and capacity to use ICT to develop and communicate their ideas, model and test concepts, research information and present information to others. They will work towards making their own resource choices and developing their own processes to achieve outcomes.
